Why I started my online business
I hated not having the time or energy to do what I love. I was sucked into the office all day and had no energy left when I got home. I was exhausted, unhappy and unfulfilled.
It all ended up with me getting burned out. I couldn't work for almost one year.
When I got back to work I knew I had to change my working situation. But I had no idea how. I was desperate and googled passive income. I have to say, there are a lot of scams out there...
I love to be whit family and friends and I love to exercise and be in nature. But I just didn't have enough time or energy...

Don’t wait until you know everything. Start your business alongside your current job and earn while learning. Then scale until you have a profitable business that can support you.
I remember my mentor told me "The best thing would be if you started an online business yesterday, but the second best thing is to start today!"
Tip no 2 - Find your passion
Find your niche and your avatar. If you try to sell to everyone you will sell to no one!
You need to know your avatar, and who will benefit from your services or products. What do they need and how can you help them?
The niche should be something around your interests, passion, or expertise. Something you genuinely like and use yourself. Otherwise, you won’t be able to put up the work in the long run. You will lose interest or get distracted with other things you like to do.
Tip no 3 - Be authentic
Focus on how you can give value to others and the money will come as a by-product. If you focus on selling and earning money, your customer will feel you are just another seller who wants their money. You need to be authentic and real, otherwise, no one will hear you in all the noise.
Tip no 4 - Find your community
Find like-minded people, a community or tribe, where you support each other. This is critical, you will have times when you doubt yourself and think you can’t make it and they will make sure you keep going. Everyone gets stuck occasionally and needs support.
It doesn't matter what level you're at, it affects everyone from time to time. The biggest obstacle is often your limiting thoughts about yourself and your abilities.
And not least importantly, it's so much more fun to create your business together with others who are on the same journey.
Tip no 5 - Invest in a coach
Get a professional coach that has done the same journey and made all the mistakes and can help you, so you don’t make the same mistakes. A professional coach will shorten your time to success! If you can't afford a coach, find a program online that can give you support in some way. Through live webinars where you can ask questions, and get feedback on your work.
Just remember one more thing, or two…

Pros and Cons
Here are some things that I discovered on the journey, the pros and cons that I hope will be valuable for you.
Pros:
- The freedom to work on your schedule.
- The freedom to work from the comfort of your home or anywhere else in the world.
- You can automate a lot of the work and let the computer do the work for you. Which gives you more time to do what you love. It's really easy and you will learn more about that in the free workshop series.
- You can make money 24-7-365 days a year.
- No boss, no alarm clock, and no commuting!
- You don’t need loads of money to invest, thousands of followers on social media, or even a unique business idea.
- You can write your own paycheck!
Cons:
- Getting overwhelmed and not knowing where to start.
- The deep learning curve in the beginning. But I found step-by-step training to follow which shorten my learning curve.
- You can get lonely as you don’t get to meet people in person. I personally have found a smaller group in Sweden who are doing the same journey. I strongly recommend you try to find some people in your area.
- As there are so many scams out there many people think you just want to spam them and trick them into buying products or services they don’t need. It’s very important to only sell products and services you are aligned with. It will shine through if you just are selling for money.
- In the beginning, you spend a lot of time in front of the computer. Make sure you have some daily routines that support your health.
- Often the closest ones around you don't understand what you are doing and may not support you as you wish. But please, know they just are worried because they care about you. Turn to your community or tribe when you need help with your business.
- You will need to step out of your comfort zone and not listen to your limiting beliefs. You need to take action even when it feels uncomfortable. You can't let your mind be in your way. You need to have courage. Actually, I think this isn't a con, as this will make you grow and develop both as a person and as an entrepreneur.
